How to Become an Editorial Board Member

All interested applicants must meet the requirements listed below.

The interested applicant must have both a valid degree in medicine and a specialty diploma, or a Ph.D.

The applicant must be academically affiliated with a university or other medical institution, an instructor at a teaching hospital or alumni of such institutions.

The applicant must be an author to least 15 original research publications and these publications should be listed on the applicant’s CV.

Once accepted, an editorial board member is expected to review at least 3 manuscripts per calendar year in a timely manner with due care and attention.

Participation in studies with high scientific value and a high h index are preferred qualities for editorial board membership.

Members are expected to contribute to strategies that will aid editorial team efforts to enhance internal control mechanisms and the quality of the publication.
